Winning entry for The Workroom Handlettering Competition. The competition picked 10 winners.
THE BACKGROUND
The theme for the competition was "Boom". Boom is commonly known as a loud sound or explosion. On the other hand, if Boom was personified, he would be a very confident person. To be confident, one has to understand oneself and that is "Find Your Inner Voice".
TONE OF VOICE
The overlaying of contrasting colours and creates a loud personality full of confidence. Swashes in the lettering makes the artwork seem unafraid and willing to experiment. This creates a personality statement.
